Adler and Allan buys UK Response business of OSRL/EARL

Adler and Allan, the UK's premier oil and environmental service group has acquired the UK port and harbour response business of Oil Spill Response and East Asia Response Ltd (OSRL/EARL), purchasing its assets and a strong customer base comprising a network of ports around the UK built up over the last 10 years.

After several rounds of discussions, OSRL/EARL decided that A&A is best qualified to take on the role of the leading provider of port and harbour oil spill response services in the UK and is comfortable in recommending A&A to their customers. Adler and Allan Limited is a major provider of oil and environmental services in the UK and previously acted as OSRL/EARL's sub-contractor in the South East region. The company is also known for its leading role in the clean up following the Buncefield oil terminal disaster.

This confirms Adler and Allan as one of the largest spill response companies in the UK with a number of contracts covering ports and harbours around the country.

OSRL/EARL will still continue to provide its 107 Members worldwide and in the UK with expertise and response to spills of any size. This commitment will also apply to the UK Ports and Harbours that require our training, exercise, consultancy and other services.
