APEA 2014: Adler and Allan Awards Shortlisted

Adler and Allan, E&S and AJ Bayliss (part of the Adler and Allan Group) award entries have been shortlisted for the APEA 2014, Health & Safety Performance, Innovation, and Environmental Protection and Improvement Awards.

The entries nominated are, Adler and Allan’s Ethanol Coalescing Filter, which removes Ethanol and BTEX Components from Separator Surface Water; AJ Bayliss’s ACE (Anti-Chamber Entry) MultiTool which allows access into underground tanks without the need to enter a chamber.

The first of its kind, the Ethanol Coalescing Filter removes 90% of all BTEX components, and is easy to fit, attaching to existing separators without any requirement for modification or upheaval. The Ethanol Filter has undergone rigorous independent performance tests, with result analysed by the National Laboratories under the Environment Agency’s MCERTS certification scheme.

The specially designed ACE (Anti-Chamber Entry) MultiTool eliminates the need to enter confined spaces and removes exposure to potentially hazardous atmospheres and environments, reducing manual handling, driving and man hours.

The award winners will be announced at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 5th November.

Swift response and excellent team effort.

We are very grateful to all those who assisted with the water ingress, starting from the initial call out response, co-ordinating and deploying the team to site with all the necessary equipment to help manage the large volume of water that was entering the building and the continued support until resolution of the external leak and the assistance with the cleaning up process.

Please could we say thank you to the guys who cleaned up the diesel in the oil tank room. I was extremely pleased with the work they have completed and in their work ethics. The floor now looks like you could eat off it.
