Adler & Allan, one of the UK’s leading oil and environmental companies, is pleased to announce the opening of a new regional operations centre in Manchester and a new base in Glasgow.


The Manchester Operations Centre will employ 20 staff and handle all customer enquiries, sales, finance and logistics for business in the region, and will support the existing A&A Waste Treatment Plant,.

The team have expanded the range of services to include Hazardous Liquid Waste Services, Emergency Spill Response, Tank Cleaning and Sludge Removal, Tankering and Specialist Fuel Services on a 24/7 response basis.


Peter Lohan, Northern Area Manager for Adler & Allan said “We’re very excited about the opportunities that this expansion will bring. We’ve had some terrific recent wins and we now have the right infrastructure and strength in depth to take us to the next level”.


Last year, A&A won the contract to provide emergency response and environmental consultancy services to Scottish Power’s distribution areas in the Scottish Lowlands and the North West.


With the addition of a Glasgow base, Adler & Allan now has two operational bases in Scotland. Recently, A&A Montrose responded to an emergency callout when a tanker carrying 37,500 litres of aviation fuel crashed causing a large oil spill. Local residents had to be evacuated from the area whilst A&A safely recovered much of the tanker's fuel. The team is now working to remediate the site under the watchful eye of SEPA.
