A&A at Petro Expo 16 – Washington DC

The event brings together the fuel handling industry from across the US including a strong representation from the US military and aviation sector.  We attend as specialist contractors to support the US military fuel infrastructure around the world.

A&A is the preferred supplier for Petrol Oil and Lubricant (POL) maintenance on the major US bases in the UK and currently has M&E teams working on projects at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Fairford and RAF Mildenhall.

At this year’s Expo A&A were invited to do a presentation on the Buncefield Terminal Disaster on its 10th anniversary. Henry Simpson, Commercial Director, looked back at the causes of the explosion and the lessons learnt from the unprecedented event.  Henry described A&A’s role as the principal contractor for the clean-up and decontamination of the site during the 30 months spent on site.

With the growth in opportunities working for the US military  and US companies, A&A has established a US business called A&A Federal Services LLC based in San Antonio, Texas.  The US business is a corporate member of the National Petroleum Management Association http://www.npma-fuelnet.org/ and will focus on POL maintenance contracts and projects with US companies around the world.

Testimonials

The entire team that attended today were completely professional and are a credit to Adler And Allan. Due to the nature and extent of the works, they were monitored throughout the activity and at no point did they conduct themselves in a less than professional manner. The works were visible to all persons within the building and demonstrated the professional supply partners that Norland use. Well done!

We are very grateful to all those who assisted with the water ingress, starting from the initial call out response, co-ordinating and deploying the team to site with all the necessary equipment to help manage the large volume of water that was entering the building and the continued support until resolution of the external leak and the assistance with the cleaning up process.
