Asset resilience specialist, Adler & Allan, has added to its portfolio of tank services following the acquisition of the goodwill and certain assets of King Tanktechnic, Manchester. The company has launched A&A TankTechnic Lining Systems, using the highly-rated Adisa product range for single skin tank applications and the DOPA® product range for creating double skin tanks with leak detection technology for compliance with EN 13160, Class 1. This provides targeted corrosion prevention for non-pressurised (atmospheric) underground tanks that store hazardous liquids, such as automotive fuels or chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals and Ethanol in Bio fuels can make the bottom of the tank vulnerable due to fatigue, stress corrosion and static breakage, leading to storage facility decay and the leakage of potentially polluting liquids. TankTechnic Lining Systems offers transformative solutions with both single skin and double skin applications. The DOPA® system is, technically equivalent to replacing a single wall tank with a double wall tank, delivering high standards of environmental safety, as well as continuous remote 24/7 monitoring with an intelligent and automated leak detector.
The DOPA® system is also ideal for use in flat bottomed and above ground storage tanks where continuous monitoring and additional environmental protection is required.
Our ultimate goal is the sustainable protection of the environment and, along with that, the maintenance of customer assets.
