New corrosion protection services

New corrosion protection services.

Adler & Allan has expanded its range of tank and pipeline services to include the application and maintenance of Cathodic Protection systems, designed to protect metallic assets and pipelines that are vulnerable to corrosion.  With a new team of qualified corrosion engineers on board, Adler & Allan now offer expertise in the application of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and Sacrificial Anode Systems, along with standalone maintenance contracts for existing systems.

Providing the most cost-effective solution to the challenge of asset corrosion, Cathodic protection is ideal for industrial installations which come into contact with the sea, ground water and rivers, or are submerged underground; preventing leaks, pollution, expensive repairs and replacements while increasing the service life of protected equipment.

As part of the new service, pipeline conditions can be monitored using Close Interval Potential Surveys (CIPS) and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) survey methods, providing accurate GPS for low protection locations and damage along any given pipeline.

“We know corrosion is a huge problem for a wide range of sectors, we already cater for clients from the oil and petrochemical companies to ports and jetties, water authorities and government organisations,”  Chris Gregory –   Adler & Allan.

We’re delighted to be able to offer a comprehensive corrosion protection service, covering feasibility studies, engineering design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.  These new capabilities allow us to further meet the needs of our existing customers, as well as reaching out to new clients wishing to minimise the risk of breakdown and costly environmental clean-up.

Our maintenance contracts are available whether Cathodic Protection was installed by Adler & Allan or a third party, and serve as a guarantee that systems are thoroughly examined and tested by qualified corrosion engineers on a regular basis.
