Making Waves: Our commitment to change

In our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, we’ve pledged to intensify our focus on diversity and inclusion. We’ve called this commitment ‘Making Waves’, symbolising our intent to create impactful changes within our organisation. This initiative is designed to amplify the voices and contributions of individuals from all backgrounds, creating a ripple effect of positive change that extends beyond our organisation, positively influencing our employees, customers, and communities.

Women Making Waves: A step towards balance

Currently, women constitute only 20% of our workforce, indicating a significant opportunity for growth and balance. It’s with great pleasure that we announce the launch of our first internal community network for women and their allies - ‘Women Making Waves’.

Women Making Waves is a vibrant community that embraces the power and potential of women in our sector. While open to all who share our passion for diversity and empowerment, this platform has been specifically designed to amplify the voices and elevate women in an industry that has long been unbalanced.

At the heart of Women Making Waves lies a proactive, collaborative spirit. This group is a platform where knowledge is shared, challenges are discussed, and most importantly, solutions are found. We believe that by coming together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone. The aim is to provide opportunities for women to thrive, grow, and excel personally and professionally.

Our commitment to change extends far beyond Women Making Waves. The Making Waves initiative is part of a broader program that underpins our ESG strategy, driving transformation and nurturing a culture of equality and respect throughout Adler and Allan. Our vision is a future where every voice is heard, every barrier is shattered, and every individual is empowered to make a difference.
