Manchester Depot Upgrade
Businesses in the Manchester area will get an even better service from us following a full upgrade of our local Waste Transfer Facility. Customers will now be able to take advantage of the enhanced services and an increased storage capacity of 333m3 (333,000L) which is geared towards oil treatment and recovery. The site has also recently been awarded a Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) permit.

A&A Rainham Depot Awarded ISO 14001
Following many months investment of management time and site developments at the Rainham (Essex) depot, Adler and Allan are pleased to announce ISO 14001 EMS accreditation for the site from July 2007. The award has been made through NQA, an internationally recognised assessment group. ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems and now the most widely used EMS in the world, with over 6,000 organisations certified in the UK alone.

Adler and Allan at Thames…
The award-winning Thames Gateway Forum is the annual meeting place for all those involved in the regeneration of The Thames Gateway and Olympic region and another major event Adler and Allan will be exhibiting at in 2007. This year's event includes a modular conference with over 130 top-level speakers, keynote speeches from leading figures, over 250 exhibitors and a dinner for 1100. Keynote speakers include Wayne Hemingway (Designer), Simon Thurley (Chief Executive of English Heritage) and Ken Livingstone (Mayor of London).

Contaminated Fuel Crisis - The Uplift
In March 2007 year Adler and Allan received one of their most important and demanding emergency response calls in their history.
In what has become known as the ‘2007 contaminated fuel crisis’ three of the nation’s major supermarket chains Tesco, Morrisons and ASDA, requested an emergency response uplift of millions of litres of contaminated fuel from their petrol forecourts around the country.
