Adler and Allan’s Water Quality and Ecology team demonstrates big ambition with strategic appointments

Adler and Allan’s Water Quality and Ecology team has welcomed four new senior hires to the team, as it continues to expand its reach in the water industry.
Andy McConnachie has joined the leadership team as Associate Director, working with the Head of Water Quality and Ecology, Hugo Jenkins, to lead commercial activity and generate sales revenue. In this role he will help diversify and build new service lines to take to market, bringing in new clients and ensuring excellent customer service relationships with existing clients. Andy also brings expertise in the field of nature-based solutions and natural flood management.
Tim Eldridge joins the Aquatic Ecology team in the role of Senior Aquatic Ecologist. Tim has over five years’ experience working in freshwater ecological consultancy services, extensive fieldwork expertise and leading aquatic ecology surveys including fish, macro-invertebrate, diatom, flow gauging, walkover, and RCA.
Georgia Arnot has joined the Water Quality Monitoring team in the role of Senior Consultant (Water). Georgia brings over six years industry experience to developing policy, consenting, innovation and BAU to deliver on water, sewage and stormwater strategies and investments.
Lauren Atkins has joined the terrestrial ecology team in the role of Senior Ecologist. Lauren has over 10 years ecological and protected species surveys experience including GCN, bats, otter, phase 1, reptile, hedgerow, badger, barn owl, breeding birds, wintering birds, and invasive non-native species. Lauren holds both Bat and GCN licenses.
Alongside the appointments, existing team members have taken on new roles. Steven Schofield has become the Associate Director (Water Quality) and Gareth Lavery has taken on the role of Associate Director (Ecology).
A number of Graduate Consultants have also been employed to support the Southern Water and Thames Water response teams to provide responsive water quality monitoring to demonstrate the impact of uncontrolled discharges.

We are part of the newly formed water division, led by Mike Williamson MBE, which offers a turnkey solution to prevent pollution, protect scarce resources and deliver compliance. With the kick off of AMP8 next year, we have big ambitions to deliver more of our services to more customers to protect their business while enhancing nature.”
