What was your background before joining Oneline?
I spent 20 years working on the Devon Highways term maintenance contract in various roles, and left to take a position with Jurassic Fibre as a civils supervisor.
Most recently I worked as part of the AWS team at South West Water, providing alternate water supplies when the network was compromised.
What do you do at Oneline?
I am a Supervisor dedicated to our Wessex Water contract.
My responsibilities include health and safety audits, site visits for planning works, equipment and supplies monitoring and training coordination. I will monitor and maintain the already high standards, ensuring we deliver an exemplary service.
What excites you about coming to work?
I’m really enjoying getting to know the team, learning the requirements of the role, and having the ability to make changes where required.
What's your favourite thing about Oneline?
The people, all the office team and operations managers have been really helpful.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy being a member of The Robey Trust in Tavistock, driving and maintaining steam-propelled engines.
What are you looking forward to over the next 12 months?
Settling into my new position, learning and gaining specific industry knowledge, and becoming a valued member of the team.
